Hygiene Manager
Alexander Steele have partnered with a food manufacturing business in Worcestershire to recruit a Hygiene Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the night hygiene functions of the business. The role holder will lead a team of people to deliver the highest hygiene standards to meet legal and certifications standards.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily hygiene functions and develop a strong team work ethic.
* Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all employees and that as a minimum the factory meets the standards set out in the SHE policy.
* Planning the factory change over cleaning window to ensure a smooth operation of time critical procedures to all the correct hygiene standards.
* Maintaining factory GMP daily whilst keeping the factory clean and tidy and audit ready.
* Lead, manage, coach and guide the nightshift team in all aspects of food safety and hygiene.
Background Experience:
* Extensive knowledge of hygiene and cleaning within a food manufacturing environment
* COSHH certification essential
* Excellent health and safety awareness
* Experience of managing and motivating teams
* HACCP Level 3
