Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Costs Draftsman with a strong background in Fast Track litigation? Do you have a solid understanding of the costs process and pride yourself on accuracy, efficiency, and excellent client service? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
I'm recruiting on behalf of Your Legal Costs, a respected and expanding specialist in the field of legal costs. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a talented Fast Track Costs Draftsman to their Liverpool-based Drafting Department.
The Role
 * Prepare and serve Fast Track Schedules of Costs, Bills of Costs, and Part 8 documentation
 * Prepare Fixed Costs Schedules and N260 Statements of Costs
 * Manage a varied caseload and meet strict deadlines
 * Communicate effectively with clients and third parties via email and phone
 * Maintain an excellent understanding of litigation processes and case management
 * Assist with the training and development of junior team members
 * Stay up to date with CPR and costs management procedures
 * Experience with issuing Part 8 proceedings and a working knowledge of phasing and the costs management process would be advantageous
About You
 * Minimum 2 years' experience drafting Fast Track Bills and Schedules
 * Proficiency in CostsMaster (essential) and Proclaim (advantageous)
 * Good knowledge of Excel and general IT systems
 * Strong communication skills and attention to detail
 * Excellent time management and organisational ability
 * A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning
 * Experience across multiple case types—such as Housing Disrepair, Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Industrial Disease, NIHL, Serious RTA, and Commercial Litigation—will be beneficial
