About the Role:
The role is for an experienced Modeller to work on a project developing, building, and testing real hardware for a key missile sub-system. The main responsibility is to produce models of the seeker for various new seeker concepts and architectures, including representations of the seeker hardware, digital processing, and target environment. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for model development, auto-code production, seeker performance prediction, and interfacing the seeker model into the missile dynamic reference model.
Responsibilities:
1. Modeling in Matlab and Simulink using model-based design techniques.
2. Developing parts of a complex Seeker model, including modeling the target scenario, seeker hardware, and processor algorithms.
3. Developing and implementing algorithms within the model.
4. Producing and verifying auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model.
