SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support for Complex Needs Location: Bradford Primary School Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-time, long-term A caring and inclusive primary school in Bradford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex learning and medical needs. The pupil requires support with communication, mobility and personalised learning activities. Role duties: Supporting a pupil with a bespoke curriculum and tailored activities Assisting with personal care and safe movement around school (training provided) Using communication tools such as Makaton or AAC (experience helpful, not essential) Liaising closely with the SENCO, class teacher and healthcare professionals Ensuring the pupil can access learning safely and enjoyably We’re looking for someone who: Has experience supporting children with complex or multiple needs Is compassionate, reliable and confident following medical or care routines Understands the importance of dignity, respect and pupil-centred support Can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team If you’re looking for a meaningful role that makes a significant difference each day, this could be a great fit.
