Job Description
Provide disability administrative support to a neurodivergent member of staff in the School of Humanities (English Literature). This casual contract will include approximately one hour on a Monday morning, with up to four hours per week depending on requirements.
Main Duties
* Time management: lead and coordinate the staff member’s weekly diary, checking electronic diaries, coordinating tutorial bookings, recording tasks and deadlines, confirming arrangements for meetings, and sending calendar invites.
* Administration: support the staff member in managing administrative tasks, completing relevant forms and university processes, liaising with colleagues, assisting with action points from meetings, and ensuring compliance with university procedures and policies (e.g., processing travel expenses).
Team
Support an Academic staff member within the School of Humanities, working alongside another Disability Administrative Support.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent administrative, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and effective forward planning.
* Ability to work closely with an individual to provide consistent, high‑quality support and advice in a confidential setting.
Employment Conditions
Casual contract; hourly pay; holiday pay at 12.07%; must have right to work in the UK via alternative route as the role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
