Key responsibilities
As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading from the front. Your duties will include:
6. Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
7. Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
8. Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
9. Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
10. Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
11. Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
