What You’ll Be Doing
* Visible lead for all things Health, Safety, Environmental and Fire: delivering toolbox talks and training sessions, and providing advice and guidance to managers.
* Monitoring site compliance against company policy and ISO 9001/14001 standards.
* Conducting risk assessments, inspections, accident investigations, and producing reports and statistics.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. Based primarily at your “home” site on the outskirts of Hull, with a visit to Grimsby once per week.
What You Need To Bring
* Ability to lead with confidence and work autonomously as the main H\&S lead on site day‑to‑day.
* NEBOSH General certificate as a minimum requirement (other qualifications such as IOSH, IEMA, Lead Auditor are a bonus but not essential).
* Experience working in a similar industry/environments (Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics).
* Understanding of environmental impacts and how to improve (IEMA accreditation would be a plus).
* Experience in Fire safety management and conducting Fire Risk Assessments.
* A right style and approach that values grit and the strength of character required to lead the safety culture on a busy site.
