What is the job role?
We are recruiting within Housing with Care for a Laundry Domestic Assistant at Knightlow Lodge. We provide a cleaning service to our clients on a daily basis. We are looking to appoint hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Laundry assistants to join our friendly teams.
You will need to
1. Ensure tenants' personal laundry, linen, etc., is maintained to a high standard and reflects the quality standards of the establishment.
2. Cleaning Tenants Flats
3. Be part of a team providing support and rehabilitation to tenants
4. Have regard for all Health and Safety Regulations
There is a 15-hour position on a part-time basis.
You will need to be available between 9.00 am – 3.00 pm on weekdays
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, and as such, appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The ideal candidate will:-
5. You will require good oral and written skills in communicating with a variety of people
6. You should have an awareness/knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
7. You will be required to work alone and prioritise your workload
8. You will be required to attend relevant training where necessary
9. Flexibility to carry out the duties of the role, along with reliability to be able to attend work consistently and regularly, are key requirements of this role.
