We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Events Executive to be a part of our integral team at Birmingham Botanical Garden, Westbourne Road, Birmingham, B15 3TR

* Full time – 35 hours a week – 5 days a week including weekends

What you'll be doing
* Reactive and proactive sales
* Answering and dealing with enquires from all platforms
* Planning events
* Upselling
* Producing sales reporting
* Producing contracts and obtaining payments
* Chasing debt
* Conducting show-rounds
* Attending trade shows
* Looking after top accounts
* Completing all administration tasks as required
Experience
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE C&E SECTOR
* Experienced in selling techniques
* Great negotiator
* Experience of account management
* Experience of yield management
* Must have excellent telephone manner
* Confident
* Ability to work as a team in a fast paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Must be target driven
* Ability to close a sale
* Experienced in use of CRM
* Understanding of the C&E industry and trends
