Junior Fashion Designer – Manchester (Hybrid, 1 Day WFH) Full-time · Permanent · Salary to £30k depending on experience So this role is really one were you'll be stepping up into your second job, it's working for a leading and growing Manchester-based fashion womenswear supplier is seeking a Junior Womenswear Fashion Designer to join their dynamic and fast-paced womenswear design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded womenswear high street designer who loves high street trend-led fashion and wants to grow within a supportive, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do: Design on trend high street womenswear for a number of high street retailers in a growing team Research trends and contribute fresh, forward-thinking design ideas Create mood boards, CAD designs and develop themed ranges Work closely with design, sales, buying and production teams Support sampling, fabric/trim selection and prototype development Assist in organising samples and maintaining showroom newness What We’re Looking For ( the experience must have to be shortlisted, this role is "NOT" entry level ) Previous and recent experience as womenswear designer of high street fashion be it a high street supplier of high street retailer, must be young fashion though Strong CAD skills and a great eye for fabrics, colour and print Creativity, commercial awareness and a proactive mindset Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills Manchester based and eligible to work in the UK What’s On Offer: Exposure to major UK retailers Hands-on experience across the full design process Opportunities for development and progression A friendly, creative team environment Hybrid working – 1 day per week from home If you're passionate about womenswear and eager to bring fresh ideas to a fast-moving design team, we’d love to hear from you. “We will endeavour to contact you within 48 hours of receiving your CV, however due to the nature of our business this may be delayed due to meetings, holidays and offsite visits.
