Job Opportunity: Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Manager
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by an industry-leading FM organisation that is looking to bring on board a new QHSE Manager to lead health and safety programs at a major site in Surrey. The role involves overseeing the QHSE requirements across the site, ensuring compliance across departments and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing health and safety team, aiming to implement positive changes in a professional and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the QHSE Manager include:
* Engaging with key stakeholders to enhance the health and safety culture among staff, subcontractors, and site operatives
* Maintaining high standards of supplier performance and developing health and safety management systems aligned with best practices
* Analyzing risks in the working environment and implementing measures to mitigate them
* Ensuring contractors comply with legislation and company guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH general certificate (or equivalent) and relevant professional membership
* Experience in the built environment, preferably in facilities management (Hard FM)
* Ability to influence and liaise with subcontractors to foster safety and compliance culture
* Strong understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 systems
* Experience in life sciences/R&D is a plus
