Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for Event day Hospitality Supervisorsto join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
Hours of work:
This role is offered on a Casual Worker basis with no guarantee of work.
Shift assignments are fully flexible and may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working
Rates of pay for this role start from £13.35p/h
To have a confident and comprehensive knowledge of various styles of food service.
To assist and support the operation and deliveryof large-scale banquetsto deliverservice and supervising team members on shift.
Provide welcoming and high-quality hospitality and customer service at all times, serving a wide range of internal and external customers, meeting dietary requirements and adhering to Coventry Building Society Arenas excellent standards.
Supervise and assist in setting and clearing all catering aspects of rooms and event spaces.
Assist with the organising of refreshments for conferences, events and matchdays around the Arena when required to do so.
Actively problem solve any issues that may arise on shift and use initiative to work with other departmental managers to resolve issues and maintain excellent customer service.
To ensure complete customer satisfaction on shift.
Actively work with other departments to ensure that guests have the best experience possible
To be responsible for the management of all staff working in your area ensuring they are briefed and trained and that you develop and coach them throughout the shift.
To ensure that all company policy and procedure is followed, including health & safety, hygiene, legislation and employment law.
To support team members during service including taking serving over, taking orders and table service.
To deal with any customer feedback or complaints and report any service or quality issues.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team and use own initiative to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
To take an active role in developing and training our frontline teams to ensure product knowledge and customer service is at the forefront.
To be fully confident in all company systems and procedures at the CBS Arena
Personal specifications:
* Hard-working and self-motivated
* Confident, friendly, and personable with excellent communication skills
* Detail-oriented team player who can also work independently
* Knowledge of Food Safety laws
* Able to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in hospitality or event management preferred
