Our client develops and manufactures bespoke electrochemical analysers, Karl Fisher titrators and gas chromatography instruments used within the oil & gas sector.
As part of their ongoing growth, we’re recruiting for a Logistics & Export Manager to strengthen internal logistics capability and ensure consistent, compliant handling of both UK and international shipments.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Creating order confirmations and commercial documentation for UK and international shipments
* Preparing and verifying Dangerous Goods documentation and ensuring correct labelling
* Coordinating import and export shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners
* Working with the Chamber of Commerce to obtain export documentation
* Managing Letters of Credit and Cash Against Documents payments when necessary
* Liaising with European partners on import and drop-ship requirements
* Maintaining accurate shipment records within the company CRM
* Supporting general transport and logistics activities as required
To be considered for this opportunity you will have / are:
* Previous experience in logistics and export operations
* Familiar with international shipping documentation and trade processes
* Experience handling Dangerous Goods or are keen to formalise this through certification
* Comfortable working office-based, five days per week
