The Role: You’ll support teaching staff and the SENCO in delivering tailored support across Key Stage 1, with responsibilities aligned to your experience and the specific needs of the pupils. Key Duties: Delivering focused interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional development Assisting with the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in lessons Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues Adapting learning resources to suit individual learning styles Tracking pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to support Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children learn An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) What We Offer: A long-term placement in a welcoming and well-organised school Competitive daily pay: £85–£100 (depending on experience) Access to ongoing CPD and training opportunities Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement Opportunities for permanent roles Wellbeing and mental health support resources Term-time only work with regular school holidays Apply Today!
