We are currently recruiting for a Health Visitor to join the North West Glasgow Locality Children’s Services Team. This is a permanent part-time position (31 hours per week) from 08:30 to 16:30.
The Health Visitor will be responsible for delivering the Universal Pathway to all children on their caseload, practicing within the legal and ethical frameworks of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and national legislation. The role includes managing a caseload, providing expert advice, health promotion, and interventions addressing issues like child protection, domestic abuse, and disabilities.
Applicants must be registered nurses with the NMC and hold a post-registration qualification in Health Visiting or Public Health Nursing, with relevant experience.
The caseload size will be determined locally using national tools, and the Health Visitor will work within multidisciplinary teams to meet public health needs.
