Health Care Assistant – Consett (DH8, NE17). Work is available in the following villages within Consett: Blackhill, Bridgehill, Castleside, Central Consett, Delves Lane, Ebchester, Medomsley, Moor Side, Leadgate, Low Westwood, Shotley Bridge, Templetown, The Grove.
Kelly Park Limited is a family‑run care provider founded in 1994. We partner with Skills for Care and Durham County Council’s Care Academy to develop our staff and deliver person‑centred care.

Responsibilities
* Promote independence, caring for service users in their own home.
* Encourage service users to be actively involved in all aspects of their day‑to‑day care.
* Accompany service users to appointments and help them access their local community.
* Prepare meals and snacks to support nutritional needs.
* Tidy service user homes and assist with basic domestic tasks.
* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, pad changes and incontinence care.
Shift Patterns
* Mornings / Lunch (7:00 am–3:00 pm)
* Tea time / Evenings (3:00 pm–10:00 pm)
* Full days (with appropriate breaks)
* Flexible availability across weekdays and alternate weekends
Pay and Benefits
£13.70 per hour, £14.50 on bank holidays. Mileage allowance paid. Pension scheme. Holidays 5.6 weeks per annum (pro‑rata). Full paid practical training, including induction and shadowing. Reward and recognition scheme. Progression routes available.
