We are seeking a qualified lawyer (minimum 2 years PQE) to join a leading Manufacturing company on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the business, providing high-quality, commercially focused legal advice.
Location: Derbyshire (one day a week in the office, four from home)
Rate: £300–£340 per day (PAYE rate)
The role:
* Advise the business on procurement and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and commercial best practice.
* Analyse and manage legal risks affecting business operations and strategy.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
* Support internal stakeholders with pragmatic, solution-focused legal guidance.
Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a current practising certificate.
* Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience in procurement and commercial contracts.
* Previous in-house experience in a manufacturing company is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and remotely.
