This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business offering genuine potential to develop your skills, broaden your knowledge, and progress your career within a supportive finance function.The Role:Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Responsibilities include:Posting and reconciling purchase invoices to purchase ordersReconciling supplier statements and preparing supplier paymentsManaging credit control and producing aged debtor reportsAllocating receipts and payments; maintaining accurate daily cashbooksPerforming regular bank reconciliations and BACS payment processingAssisting with VAT returns, audit preparation, and standard reportingSupporting quarterly and year-end financial reportingHandling accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactionsThe Ideal Candidate:Experience in a finance or accounts assistant roleConfident working across both purchase and sales ledgerKnowledge of bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepaymentsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsGood Excel skills; SAP experience is an advantageAAT qualified or studying towards AAT is preferredWhats on Offer:Salary up to £29,000 DOEFull-time, permanent positionSupportive team culture and career development opportunitiesYou will be given the opportunity to grow your responsibilities over time and gain exposure to new areas within finance, making this an ideal role for someone who is ambitious and eager to learn.If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, apply today or contact Harry at Blusource Recruitment on 0115 981 6075 to find out more.TPBN1_UKTJ
