Responsibilities
* Assist customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs, including frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings.
* Perform pre-screening eye examinations where appropriate and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.
* Support phone lines with customer queries and process payments.
* Ensure customers leave with eyewear that fits properly and meets their vision needs, providing excellent customer service.
You'll play a key part in Vision Express’s mission to help customers “See More and Be More” by delivering tailored and effective service to maximise visual potential.
Although hours are advertised, the company is open to flexible options to fit around your ideal working week.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
* Provide excellent customer service with the ability to offer personalised assistance and address customer needs and concerns.
* Great communication and rapport-building skills to translate professional terminology into language understandable to customers.
* Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining accurate customer records, prescriptions, and requirements to provide the best service and product recommendations.
* Ability to work as part of a team across the store and handle pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Confidence, passion, drive and enthusiasm.
* Knowledge and understanding of optical products and services (frames, lenses, contact lenses) with the ability to inform customers and promote products to help meet store targets.
* Maintain a visually appealing store environment in line with marketing guidance.
