About The Role
As a Coordinator – Estate Safety (Trees), you will work closely with the Tree Officer to deliver a professional, high‑quality estate safety and urban forestry service. You’ll play a key role in managing enquiries, coordinating works and ensuring tree‑related risks are managed effectively across our communities.
Key responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for tree management enquiries from customers and colleagues, by phone and email.
* Use specialist digital systems, including GIS and Treewise, to assess enquiries, interpret policy and support consistent decision‑making.
* Carry out site visits where required to clarify information and support effective tree risk management.
* Support the preparation of work specifications and plans, working with the Tree Officer on more complex requirements.
* Manage contractor processes, including quotations, purchase orders, monitoring works and post‑completion checks.
* Maintain accurate records, support complaints handling and contribute to service improvement activity.

Full time & Hybrid Working
* This is a full time role working 37 hours per week.
* Hybrid working is available for this role, working at least 2 days per week in the office, dependent on business need.
About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Coordinator – Estate Safety (Trees), you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role and the following role specific skills and experience:
Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal calmly with challenging situations.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience
* Experience of working in a customer‑focused role, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience of recording, managing and extracting data using IT systems and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge
* Understanding of urban forestry and tree management, including statutory protection and risk management.
* Knowledge of arboricultural terminology and best practice tree operations.
Qualifications
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Good level of literacy and numeracy, with willingness to work towards LANTRA Basic Tree Survey and Inspection.
Desirable
* Experience of working in social housing or a similar regulated, customer‑focused environment.
