Care Assistant Days
Salary: £13.31ph / £12.31ph for 18-21 year olds
Hours: Part Time or Full Time Permanent Contract (7.30am-7.30pm, 2-4 days a week including alternate weekends)
Location: Avenue House Nursing and Care Home, Rushden, NN10 0SN

About Avenue House Nursing And Care Home
Avenue House is located just outside Rushden. The home features modern Regency style architecture, providing a homely atmosphere while offering modern living accommodation. It provides personal, nursing and dementia care for 48 residents.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living, including personal care and assistance with activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, while supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
* Maintain 100% current status with all mandatory training throughout the year.
Role Requirements
* Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
* Reside within 20 minutes of the care home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
