Team Leader Corporate Receptionist / Front of House - Law Firm - City of London - £44k - £48k + great benefits


We are on the hunt for a proactive, professional individual with a warm and personable nature, to join a fabulous City law firm as their Team Leader / Receptionist / Front of House


In this role, creating exceptional first impressions is paramount, so we’re looking for someone who exudes a friendly and approachable nature and undertakes all tasks with professionalism and respect.

Working as part of team, on a Monday to Friday shift basis (detailed below), you will be responsible for providing an efficient and professional front of house and hospitality service to internal and external clients and visitors.


Shifts: This is a Monday to Friday office based role, working shifts between 8am and 7pm. Core hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The team work on a rota basis.

Key responsibilities as the Team Leader Receptionist/Front of House will include:

* Lead and schedule the reception team, preparing weekly rotas and rotating tasks to develop skills.
* Conduct regular meetings, set objectives, and complete performance reviews.
* Foster professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Meeting and greeting all clients and visitors in a polite and professional manner
* Proactively assisting with any queries
* Monitoring any waiting times and arranging any refreshments as required
* Answering calls and transferring, taking messages or answering any queries
* Monitoring Front of House inbox
* Arranging meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are equipped as required
* Booking and arranging travel
* Ordering stationery and items for events (props, flowers etc)
* Assisting the hospitality and events team with organising events
* Maintaining databases and records

What we’re looking for:

* Experience in a client facing role within a busy Law firm or professional services environment
* Previous Leadership skills essential
* Excellent customer service skills with an ‘above and beyond’ attitude
* Proactive, approachable and professional nature
* Exceptional administration and Microsoft skills
* Competent problem-solving capabilities taking the initiative, working independently or as a team member
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to understand the confidential nature of the business and the importance of information security
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure
* Ability to work on a shift basis in an office-based role
