5 out of 7 days - Approx. 4/5 hours per day between 9:00am and 3:00pm
General Purpose
Responsible for cleaning Hotel Rooms and Public areas to a high level of cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Wiping and polishing fixtures in public areas
· Vacuuming, dusting, mopping all public areas
· Cleaning bar areas thoroughly
· Cleaning assigned guestrooms in accordance with company standards (changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting etc)
· Replenishing amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms
· Wiping all glass and mirrors
· Linen stock take and sorting of all clean and dirty linen
· Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
· Report to Reception/Maintenance needed repairs or unsafe conditions
· Greet and acknowledge guests
· Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements
· Always follow established safety procedures. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behaviour to the supervisor or manager
· Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures
· Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
· Deep Cleans
· Legionella Control Cleaning
· Other Ad Hoc Cleaning duties
· Cleaning all public toilets
Education, Skills and Experience
* Basic reading, writing, and math skills
* Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and ability to push/pull medium to large weights/objects
* Frequently standing up and moving about the hotel
* Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the hotel
* Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
* Able to work alone as well as being a team member

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
