Job Description – Nurse Deputy Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care service. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and promote a high-quality, person-centred approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager with the overall management and leadership of the service.
* Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing and care staff, ensuring safe and effective practice.
* Lead by example in delivering high standards of nursing care and safeguarding service users.
* Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and medication management.
* Monitor clinical governance, infection control, and health & safety within the service.
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
* Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of care and operational efficiency.
* Contribute to continuous improvement, service development, and staff engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC pin.
* Previous experience in a senior nursing role within a care home or similar setting.
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
* Evidence of leadership and staff management skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Pay: £24.50 per hour
