With a rich family-owned heritage dating back to 1868, the client operates seven distinctive hotels across three stunning Scottish locations. The Role
We're seeking a Production and Banqueting Head Chef to lead a talented kitchen brigade, delivering consistently high-quality food across restaurants, cafés, and a variety of events.
This role is as diverse as it is rewarding – from intimate private dinners to large banquets for 500+ guests. You'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the production and banqueting kitchen, overseeing everything from menu planning and stock control to team leadership and rota management.
This is a full-time position (45 hours per week), with a mix of daytime and evening shifts. On-site live-in accommodation is available if required – inclusive of bills and three free meals per day from the staff canteen.
What We're Looking For
* Banqueting Experience – Proven ability to deliver high-quality food at scale for events, conferences, and private dining.
* Strong Leadership – A confident Head Chef or senior production chef with experience managing and motivating kitchen teams.
* Excellent Organisational Skills – Able to prioritise, delegate, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to Detail – Committed to maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations.
* Operational Knowledge – Comfortable with high-volume production, stock control, food safety, and compliance.
* Flexibility – Able to adapt between large-scale catering and smaller, bespoke dining experiences
What You'll Receive
* Up to £42,000 DOE per annum, plus an estimated £2,000 per year in tips
