Aluminium Fabricator – Witham, Essex – Up to £13 per hour – Temp to Perm
We're working with a leading manufacturer in the fenestration industry who are looking for an experienced Aluminium Window and Door Fabricator to join their growing production team in Witham. This is a temp - perm, full-time role offering stability, great working hours, and the opportunity to work with high-quality aluminium products.
The Role
As a Fabricator, you'll be responsible for producing and assembling aluminium windows, doors, and glazing systems to the highest industry standards.
Duties include
* Fabricating aluminium windows, doors, and related systems from job specifications
* Operating saws, punch tools, routers, and crimping equipment
* Assembling frames, sashes, and fittings with precision
* Cutting and preparing aluminium profiles for fabrication
* Carrying out quality checks and rectifying any production issues
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Reporting material shortages or machinery faults to the supervisor
Experience required
* Previous experience in aluminium fabrication (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication sheets and technical drawings
* Confident using hand and power tools in a production setting
* Knowledge of aluminium systems such as Reynaers, Schüco, Smart, Kawneer, AluK, or Sheerline is highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
Hours & Pay
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00 (2 x 30‑minute breaks)
Friday: 07:00 - 15:30 (1 x 30‑minute break)
40 hours per week
Up to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience
