Job Title: Junior Project Manager / PMO Analyst
Hours: Full time (40-hours per week)
Location: Colchester, minimum 3 days in the office
Reports to: VP Delivery
Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
We are on the hunt for an immediate available, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager / PMO Analyst to support the successful delivery of projects across the organisation. This hybrid role blends hands-on project coordination with support for PMO functions such as reporting, governance, and documentation. You will work closely with senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope and operational governance is adhered to.

Key responsibilities include:
Project Support
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking small-scale projects or workstreams within larger programs.
* Support project lifecycle activities (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
* Maintain project plans, risk registers, and issue logs.
* Help manage project communications and meeting coordination.
* Track project deliverables and ensure timely updates from stakeholders.
PMO Operations
* Prepare and distribute regular project and portfolio status reports.
* Support governance processes and adherence to project management methodologies.
* Help maintain project templates, documentation standards, and knowledge base.
* Assist in resource tracking and utilization reporting.
* Support audit and compliance checks related to project management processes.
* Supporting marketing and brand activities.
The list of key responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required. Travel should be expected as part of this role.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 1–2 years of experience in a project coordination, business analyst, or PMO support role (internship experience counts).
* Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or PMI).
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
* Experience with Oracle OpenAir / NetSuite Suite Projects Pro is desirable, but not essential training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* The ability to work independently when required, as well as part of a team.
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Project Management certification or training (e.g. CAPM, Agile fundamentals).
* Experience working in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
* Familiarity with PMO tools and dashboards (e.g. Oracle OpenAir / NetSuite Suite Projects Pro).
