Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to develop and coordinate our learning disabilities supported housing schemes and domiciliary services across Blackpool. The role is at the forefront of our leadership team, ensuring effective delivery and daily operational management of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of staff, volunteers, and students, providing supervision, coaching, and performance management.
* Ensure effective delivery of learning disabilities supported housing schemes and domiciliary services.
* Oversee staff deployment to meet individual needs and preferences within available resources.
* Identify training needs (mandatory and service‑specific) and maintain accurate records.
* Respond to referrals, conduct initial assessments, and ensure co‑produced support plans with designated Key Workers.
* Establish clear goals and pathways for service users toward greater independence, and organize person‑centred reviews.
* Collaborate with local multidisciplinary teams and community‑based agencies to provide holistic, wrap‑around support.
* Maintain high standards of environmental safety and quality, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
* Facilitate service‑user engagement, involvement, and peer support; implement robust quality monitoring and key performance indicators.
* Provide exceptional customer care; proactively communicate stakeholder risk management and welfare of supported individuals.
* Uphold a strong ethical duty of care and commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
Training & Development
Full training is provided, with the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
