We're working with a long-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary into their Commercial Property team in High Wycombe

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised legal professional to work closely with a Partner, supporting a busy Commercial Property practice and gaining exposure to a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters

  • leWe are seeking a Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive support to the Commercial Property team. You will assist with the progression of transactions, client communications, compliance procedures, and general administrative tasks, helping to ensure matters are handled efficiently from instruction through to completio

n.Responsibilities includ

  • e:Supporting fee earners with commercial property transactions and day-to-day matter manageme
  • ntAudio and copy typing, including dictation wo
  • rkOpening and closing client files in line with firm procedur
  • esConducting AML and Source of Funds chec
  • ksCompleting online client identification checks via CRED
  • ASPreparing and issuing bills and assisting with the billing proce
  • ssChasing outstanding invoices and paymen
  • tsDrafting and amending legal documents using track chang
  • esAssisting with SDLT calculations for commercial property transactions and leas
  • esUsing precedent banks to source and prepare legal documentati
  • onMaintaining accurate records using the firm's case management syst
  • emLiaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parti
  • esMonitoring key dates, deadlines, and transaction progre
  • ssProviding administrative and legal support to the Commercial Property team and Managing Partn

About

  • YouPrevious experience within a law firm as a Legal Assist
  • antStrong organisational and administrative ski
  • llsExperience undertaking AML and compliance procedu
  • resExcellent attention to detail and accur
  • acyStrong communication and client care ski
  • llsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word track chan
  • gesAbility to manage competing priorities and work to deadli
  • nesCommercial Property or Real Estate experience would be advantage
  • ousKnowledge of SDLT calculations and commercial property transactions is desira
  • bleFamiliarity with CREDAS or similar ID verification systems would be benefic
  • ialExperience using legal case management systems, particularly Partner for Windows, is advantage
