Shifts will be offered across our care homes in the Glasgow area, providing you with a variety of opportunities and flexibility to shape your working week.
Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may not always be consecutive, including days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility is key to being a Flex Force Care Assistant, as it ensures you can adapt to the needs of our homes while still maintaining control over your schedule.
The homes you will be working across include : Ailsa Craig, G51 1DJ, Douglas View, ML4 1RR, Darnley Court, G53 7RR, Eastbank, G32 0HA, Greenfield Park, G32 6BX, Quayside, G13 4DT, Wyndford Locks, G20 9EW, Kirknowe, ML2 8AL & The Village, G67 2RF
About The Role

Delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart. Its about making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whether youre helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, youll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
Duties are varied but will include.
* Supporting Residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
* Helping Residents with limited mobility
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of Residents on and off site.

A driving license with access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
Safeguarding is everyones responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
