An important and exciting temporary project management role is starting 29 September until the end of the year. (This could potentially extend). Hybrid role with offices in Leeds city centre. This is a great firm to work for with all placed candidates providing excellent feedback. It is a challenging role requiring previous project support experience.
Job profile:
In this project support role, you will assist with successful planning and delivery of business projects. You will have strong organisational and facilitation skills along with excellent communication skills.
You will be highly proactive building trust and positive working relationships to keep projects on track, support problem solving and maximise impact. You will also be familiar with supporting the management of budgets, for example raising purchase orders, tracking and reporting spend.
Responsibilities:
* Support the successful delivery of designated projects providing project support with the team and ensuring project methodologies and processes are followed.
* Have an understanding of project management processes and develop the knowledge of specific systems quickly to support colleagues to use them. Training on specific systems will be given.
* Support and guide the project teams through any project governance processes e.g. raising contracts or understanding when additional processes are required for GDPR.
* Where required, facilitate internal and external meetings that directly contribute to the delivery of projects. This may include: preparing agendas, papers or presentations; circulating papers; attending meetings, taking actions/notes and monitoring actions arising as appropriate.
* Maintain electronic filing systems to help colleagues work effectively and efficiently.
* Maintain an overview of activities of the projects you support enabling leads to have a holistic overview of all ongoing activity, risks, issues and possible blockages to enable the achievement of project, programme.
* Support in analysing and presenting data/information for reports, presentations or papers as required to a high standard.
* Support cross organisational processes as required, e.g. gathering information for business planning, annual reporting, performance reporting.
1. Experience required:
* High level of organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at different points in the project cycle, often with conflicting deadlines.
* Have an understanding of the importance of strategy to support the delivery of outcomes.
* Have excellent communication and relationship building skills, working across multiple projects and engaging with teams across the organisations to deliver project outcomes.
* Flexibility and drive, supporting teams to keep projects on track.
* Be creative and innovative within your role to bring solutions to issues and blockage.
* Enjoy working on new areas of work and growing your knowledge and understanding.
* Strong organisational skills, prioritising a varied and demanding workload whilst maintaining flexibility.
Hours: 36 hours per week Mon to Fri
Salary: £17.54 per hour
