Your new role
Within the Motor division, the firm offers guidance and legal representation for Road Traffic Accident (RTA) litigation, representing numerous insurance clients and pursuing counterclaims. The financial scope of these claims spans from the Small Claims track to amounts up to £100,000, epassing both costs and disbursements. Typically, the claims involve abination of special and general damages. Our expertise extends to addressing disputes over liability and quantum for bothmercial and private policyholders, in addition to handling issues related to causation, credit hire, claims involving minors, and questions of indemnity.
Your role entailsprehensive management of a portfolio of motor litigation cases, including reporting to clients, advising on liability and quantum, and providing procedural updates and reserve assessments. This role demands close cooperation with client personnel, utilisation of client systems, and, when necessary, visits to client offices. The caseload may also epass pre-litigation cases as needed. In dealing with injury claims, we conduct reviews of medical reports and records to furnish quantum assessments. Routine administrative duties, such as processing iing mail, filing, and employing a case management system, are integral to our proactive caseload management.
