The role is available to start as soon as possible or from the Summer Term 2026, depending on the candidate's availability. The Role As a Reception Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' development across all areas of the EYFS framework. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and early maths development Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and communication skills Working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment Supporting the teacher with observations and progress tracking Assisting with classroom routines, transitions, and outdoor learningThe role requires someone who is nurturing, proactive, and confident supporting young children as they begin their school journey.
