Job Overview
As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You'll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies within the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details
 * Your starting pay will be $15.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.
 * This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
 * Average weekly hours for this position are between 3 – 11 hours per week.
 * Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities
The position consists of three major components:
 * Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology for daily tasks, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys. You will also interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers, and be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
 * Holiday support: During holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may need additional days and extended hours. On occasions such as Valentine’s, Mother’s, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
 * Department resets: You may be part of a team that installs and performs tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will be notified two weeks in advance of remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends.
 * Team collaboration: You are part of Hallmark’s field organization and may support other team members in their territories as needed.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, continuously pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
 * At least 18 years of age.
 * Ability to read, write and understand English.
 * Capacity to grasp, pull, lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
 * Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
 * Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
 * Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
