Job Summary
Flitwick Surgery is looking for a committed and enthusiastic GP to join their busy practice covering 5 sessions a week: Monday (full day), Tuesday (half day) and Friday (all day). In the long term there may be potential for partnership. The vacancy arose due to a clinician relocating. We support portfolio working and are interested in GPs with special interests or who may want to lead on specific conditions or disease management.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support and care for a diverse patient group in a semi‑rural small commuter town.
* Provide all general duties associated with a GP, including GP online triage using AccuRx.
* Attend scheduled sessions and support patients with a working pattern of part‑time (5 sessions a week).
* Participate in continuous improvement projects, including full GP triage and modernising systems.
* Potential partnership opportunities in the future.
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
* Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
* Listed on the NHSE medical performers list
* Completed Disclosure and Barring Service check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975
* Current UK professional registration
Contract & Salary
* Salary: Depending on experience
