Hours: 35hrs per week, permanent
Salary / Hourly Rate: £47, - £48,

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Commissioning & Assurance Officer to play a pivotal role in our newly established Commissioning and Assurance Team. This is a great opportunity to support the effective contract management and resource allocation of commissioned resources across South Lanarkshire.

The successful candidate will support senior members of staff with service development and planning activity, monitoring and performance processes, implement and review contracts, and will build and develop good relationships with a range of stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service delivery and experience.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and ready to support the implementation of the South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership (SLHSCP) Strategic Plan.

1. Experience and training within a social work/health and/or social care environment

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3. Ability to review and improve systems, processes, and reporting methods to increase efficiency

4. Ability to work collaboratively across teams, providers, and partner agencies

5. A commitment to innovation, partnership working, and delivering excellent outcomes for adults and older people

Overseas Criminal Records Check

An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years.

Applicants are responsible for providing evidence of the Overseas Criminal Record Check. The check must be translated into English and should come from the police, judicial authority, government department or home embassy of the country or countries concerned. The check must include an official statement confirming that the applicant does not have any history of or pending criminal record proceedings. Checks may be carried out to authenticate the documents provided.
