Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Upper Key Stage 2 – SATs Support)
Location: Bury, BL0
Pay: £15–£19 per hour (AWR compliant)
Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a local primary school in the Bury (BL0) area to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support Upper Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on SATs preparation.
Start date: After half term
Contract: Long term role until Summer
Hours: 8.30- 3.30
The role will include:
* Supporting teaching and learning in Upper Key Stage 2
* Delivering targeted SATs interventions (small group and 1:1 support)
* Working closely with the class teacher to reinforce core skills
* Supporting pupils’ progress, confidence, and wellbeing
* Assisting with classroom organisation and learning resources
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Have experience working within Upper Key Stage 2
* Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs
* Be proactive, patient, and committed to supporting pupil progress
* Work effectively as part of a school team
Pay & benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate of £15–£19, depending on experience
