Radiology X-Ray Technician Job Details Location: Glens Falls, NY (Zip: 12801) – New York healthcare jobs
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (December 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026)
Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Hours per Week: 37.5 guaranteed
Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
Setting: Large hospital, 400 beds
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920–$2060
Radiology Technician Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology X-Ray Technician
Current BLS certification
Active NYSDOH License (ARRT) – New York radiology jobs
De-Escalation training (Welle, CPI, PMC S, or NAPPI)
Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)
Radiology X-Ray Technician Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures as directed by physicians
Operate GE imaging equipment and utilize EPIC charting system
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
Maintain strict safety standards and infection control protocols
Participate in weekend rotations and adapt to flexible shift schedules
Apply de-escalation techniques to promote a safe healthcare environment for patients and staff
