Public Health Nursing 0-19 Clinical Lead
Join to apply for the Public Health Nursing 0-19 Clinical Lead role at Sirona care & health
The Public Health Nursing Service within Sirona Care & Health CIC is excited to offer two opportunities to join our Health Visiting Clinical Leads team:
* A 12‑month secondment within the Inner City & East Locality of Bristol (30 hours per week)
* A substantive post within the South Gloucestershire locality (27 hours per week)
Our Public Health Nursing service is central to delivering public health outcomes for children, young people and families across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). Using your leadership and management skills as part of our Clinical Leads team you will ensure that the service supports and empowers children, young people, families and communities to make decisions that positively affect their future health and well‑being.
If you are a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) with a passion for leading teams then this role could be for you.
As Our Clinical Lead, You Will
* Provide inspiring and innovative leadership: high‑quality line management and leadership for skill‑mixed teams including pre and post‑registration students during their placements, providing supervision, supporting staff wellbeing and influencing a compassionate team culture.
* Take a “Think Family” approach to service delivery.
* Support the implementation of the Healthy Child Programme and specific Public Health Nursing programmes such as MECSH (Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home‑Visiting) and UNICEF BFI.
* Work in partnership with local communities, services and partners to ensure place‑based service delivery responds to need and local priorities and that our service is accessible, culturally sensitive and safe.
* Support the Locality Lead and work in partnership with operational leads to deliver contractual service requirements: local performance activity, audits and service improvement, including ensuring team members are supported to contribute and their voices are represented.
We are Sirona care & health – England’s largest provider of Adult’s and Children’s Community Services – and we’d love for you to join us in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.
Agenda for Change salary, full NHS benefits, 27+ days’ annual leave, and participation in the NHS Pension Scheme – just a glimpse of the benefits you’ll receive.
We welcome and encourage all applicants. We are committed to diversity, equality of opportunity, and creating an inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
