In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our organisation, ensuring the efficient operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. Your proactive approach to troubleshooting, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills will contribute to the success of our IT infrastructure. Key Skills: · Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate at all levels of seniority with both internal stakeholders and external customers. · Able to communicate complex issues effectively, providing the right level of detail and ensuring accuracy in all published communications. · Technical experience with a basic understanding of Routers, Networks and VoIP Telephones. · Strong understanding of internal software and a thorough understanding of the IT infrastructure. · Proven knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID · Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and services · Must have a customer focused attitude. Responsibilities: · Provide first line technical assistance and support to internal customers for hardware, software and network related issues. · Respond to customers promptly and establish the best way to provide support as effectively and efficiently as possible. That may be via phone, email, in person or using our ITSM platform Zoho Desk. · Responsible for the day-to-day management and upkeep of the internal Helpdesk system, continuously looking for ways to improve the customer service offering and ensuring all information is kept up to date and reviewed regularly. · Contribute to the documentation of IT processes, procedures and knowledge base articles. · Day to day management of the internal Helpdesk, ensuring knowledge base articles are reviewed and kept relevant and customer enquiries are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner. · Support remote users and assist in remote connectivity issues. · Assist in the setup and maintenance of network equipment across the business including routers, switches, and wireless access points. · Assist in the set up and maintenance of devices across the business including computer systems, laptops and mobile devices. · Install, configure and troubleshoot software applications and operating systems. · Assist in the migration of current infrastructure to cloud based equivalents as and when required. · Work collaboratively alongside our IT partner to resolve possible system issues and support internal users. Perform routine system upgrades and ensure constant system security and performance are of a high standard. · Contribute to hardware and software inventory and asset management. Keeping accurate record of equipment and licenses. · Participate in disaster recovery and backup procedures as and when required. · Complete any additional ad-hoc IT and support related tasks as required by the business. Qualifications: · 1 years' experience in an IT / Technology support role preferred but not essential. · MS-900 and AZ-900 certification preferred · Must have a basic understanding of computer hardware, software applications, operating systems and network fundamentals. Role Requirements: Full UK driving license essential. Must be willing to travel, occasionally at short notice within the UK. (Expenses paid)
