About the roleAs a Technician 2 – Microsoft Teams Migration Support Engineer, you will provide deskside and floorwalking support to client during their transition from Zoom to Microsoft Teams. You’ll assist users with setup, troubleshooting, and adoption of Teams features, ensuring a smooth migration experience.
Location: NWG Thanet Grange, Southend-on-Sea SS0 0EJ
Shifts: Monday to Friday ( hours/week)
Contract Duration: 29 October 2025 to 27 March 2026
Working Hours: 09:00 AM – 17:30 PM
Rate: in-scope IR35, of £ OR £ (Umbrellapany)
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide deskside and floorwalking support during Microsoft Teams migration.
2. Assist users with:
3. Joining meetings, calls, and chats.
4. Sharing and collaborating on documents.
5. Troubleshooting login, MFA, and calendar sync issues.
6. Resolve technical issues (audio/video, connectivity, app crashes).
7. Coach users on “how do I?” queries (screen sharing, notifications, mobile app).
8. Guide users to self-help resources and digital training content.
9. Capture recurring issues and feedback to the project team.
10. Collaborate with other technicians and local resources as needed.
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
11. Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
12. Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
13. Ability to work independently and in a team.
14. Excellentmunication and coaching abilities.
15. Familiarity with enterprise IT environments.
