In the heart of Southwark an 'Outstanding' Secondary School are on the hunt for a Teacher of Economics for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Teacher of Economics who is keen to add value to an expanding Economics department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects, as well as very, very strong KS5 results.
The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!
Experienced Teachers of Economics can take on a TLR such as Pastoral Responsibility, 2iC, and more. Early Career Teacher of Economics (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced teachers.

* September 2026 - Full Time & Permanent
* MPS1-UPS3 - £42,000 - £70000 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
* Located in the Borough of Southwark
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
* Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
* Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
* You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers
* Must be willing to listen to feedback
