Overview
Occupational Health Nurse – Carlisle. Dream Medical is a Primary care specialist company focusing on finding lucrative locum and permanent opportunities for qualified Nurses, AHPs, HCAs and GPs. We are providing nursing cover in the Carlisle area to large organisations such as law firms and factories to administer the flu vaccination in the latter part of the year.
This is a flexible locum opportunity that you can fit around your existing schedule. We vaccinate nationwide in all parts of the UK and this will commence from the end of September to around mid-December. We stock approx. 25,000 vaccines and have around 400 different clients nationwide.
All the vaccinations equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents will be on site in a temperature regulated box for the nurse upon arrival.
Responsibilities
* Administer 16 flu vaccines per hour.
* Attend minimum of 3 hour clinics and travel between sites (25p per mile if you are asked to travel).
* Provide locum nursing cover on an ad-hoc basis to fit around your schedule.
Requirements
* NMC registration and pin
* Occupational Health Nursing/Practice nursing experience
* Immunisations clinical update
* Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year
