A well-established accountancy firm based in Altrincham is seeking an Accountant to join its growing team. The firm provides generalist accountancy services to owner‑managed businesses across a variety of industries.
Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service to a variety of clients, including sole traders, owner‑managed businesses and HNWI’s. Responsibilities include the preparation of year‑end accounts, VAT returns, some bookkeeping duties and corporation tax computations. You will join a tight‑knit team that collaborates to ensure all deadlines are met and a high level of client service is provided. You will be expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, whether by phone or in‑person visits.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm is seeking an experienced general practitioner who enjoys working with OMB’s. Candidates may be part‑qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE). What matters most is the ability to work accurately, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and excellent client‑service skills are essential. The firm will consider full‑time and part‑time working hours.
