Garner Pugh and Sinclair, a well-established and busy accountancy practice based in Oswestry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team on a full-time, office-based basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for either a qualified candidate or someone qualified by experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Preparation of accounts up to Final Accounts stage
* VAT return preparation and submission
* Payroll processing as part of a team
* Assisting with general accounting duties within a busy office environment
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience in accounts preparation to Final Accounts
* VAT and payroll experience
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage workload in a busy office setting
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with Sage software, Quickbooks, and Xero products
* AAT or equivelant qualification
