We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Station Reception Officer to join our operational team at Bromley Police Station. This is a permanent full-time shift based position working an average of 40 hours per week both days and nights, 6 days on, 4 days off with a 30 minute unpaid break.

The role:
1. Reports to Facilities & Services Manager
2. Providing an efficient first point of contact for members of the public
3. Answer calls promptly and clearly before re-routing callers accordingly
4. Operate computer systems accurately to record enquires
5. Receive and administer property
6. To be responsible for the security, safety and tidiness of the station reception areas
7. Working an average of 40 hours per week on a 6 on 4 off shift pattern, 10 hour shifts, earlies, lates and nights.
8. May be required to provide occasional cover at other sites within SE London
The person:
9. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of written/spoken English
10. Diligent customer service attitude
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Good IT skills
13. Subject to security vetting by the Metropolitan Police
