The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Chessington. This is a hands-on, varied role, combining FLT driving with general warehouse duties, offering the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating counterbalance forklifts safely
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Moving, stacking, and organising stock
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
* Manual handling
* Stock checks and inventory control
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
* Following health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance) - essential
* Previous forklift counterbalance driver / warehouse experience preferred
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Good attention to detail
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
