This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Tool Maker, Mould Toolmaker or Toolroom Engineer to play a key role in maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of injection mould tools, while contributing to continuous improvement, new product introduction and manufacturing excellence.
Key responsibilities: Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of injection mould tools to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime Diagnose and resolve tooling faults impacting production, quality, cycle times and overall manufacturing efficiency Support tool modifications, engineering changes and customer-driven improvement projects across a wide range of injection mould tools Operate toolroom machinery including CNC mills, lathes, grinders and manual toolmaking equipment to produce precision components Strip down, clean, assemble and test injection mould tools, ensuring correct electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic functionality before return to production Work closely with Production, Engineering, Technical and Quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve moulding and tooling issues Record all tooling activity accurately using ERP and quality xkybehq management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
