The position of Accounts Receivable Assistant is a Junior/Trainee role within our Toxicology Finance Function located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The role will include training and working in all areas of accounts receivable from cash allocation, invoicing through to credit control. What You’ll Do · Accurate processing and allocation of receipts, following up on missing remittance advices. · Outgoing calls to customers to ensure payment of invoices · Manual processing of invoices & credit notes, across different work-flows in different systems. · Monitoring invoices raised from ‘automatic’ systems · Resolving customer queries in a timely manner, via email or telephone · Month end duties, to include production of customer statements Qualifications & Skills · GCSE holder · Knowledge of MS Suite (especially Excel & Outlook) · Good IT skills, with the confidence to interrogate multiple systems. · Communication skills via email / phone · Hands on approach to problem solving · Able to work to deadlines, with the ability to organize and prioritize · Teamwork · Achieving results ethically This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of a highly skilled team in an innovative market - you can shape your career as you help Abbott shape the future of healthcare.
