The Technical Support Specialist provides advanced product support to customers using assays sold and distributed by Cepheid. You will serve as the technical expert in Cepheid’s Customer Care experience, supporting internal and external customers via phone, email, and web. This role aligns with DHR Diversity and Inclusion Charter and is available to incumbents.
This is a temporary 14-month contract, part of the Tier 2 Technical Support Team, and is remote. Our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Engage customers to gather detailed information about complaints.
* Conduct advanced data analysis and troubleshooting, understanding customer sample collection and lab practices.
* Investigate and resolve complex customer complaints, coordinating with Service and Global Product Support for escalation.
* Follow Quality Management System procedures and contribute to quality compliance through accurate documentation.
* Maintain product knowledge and support continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent, with relevant experience in Virology/Microbiology or Clinical Laboratory Science, or in Technical Support.
* Fluent in English and Polish (written and oral); additional languages like Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Dutch, French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Portuguese are advantageous.
* Laboratory or Technical Support experience in PCR, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Oncology, or Virology.
* Knowledge of patient sample collection, sample preparation, and laboratory diagnostic equipment and software.
Additional preferred experience includes:
* Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.com.
* Ability to follow complex procedures and thrive in a dynamic environment.
